About the program
The financial internship program provides exposure to Trading, Sales/Advisory, Research and Marketing roles across the intern stockbroking firm.
Type of work
Each intern will be allocated to a particular team and will work alongside experienced market practitioners. The type of work involved may include:
Attending trading training to learn about fundamental and technical analysis of trading, and also upcoming issues, reports and economic data that will influence trading activities and the trading environment;
Conducting market analysing and proving appropriate marketing plan;
Researching request and producing reports for use by sales and trading, such as looking for trends that might help trading decisions;
Organsing events
Although allocated to a particular team, the program also provides interns with a broad overview of a variety of roles across the company. This involves spending time in various areas, providing an excellent opportunity to network and receive on-the-job training.
Who we’re looking for
Prospective interns should be highly analytical and have excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills. We are looking for motivated, disciplined interns who can think outside the box.
