OfficeMate is a rapidly expanding Office Stationery & Furniture company. We are currently seeking a Purchasing/Accounts Assistant.
Key responsibilities include:
Create and process purchase orders ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.Create preferred supplier catalogues and price lists for company employeesUndertake negotiations with suppliers to ensure the company's value for money on all purchases of goods and servicesManage and review suppliers and contractors to ensure the efficient use of their goods and servicesExpedite all open purchase ordersMaintain desired inventory levelsAccounts payable/receivableDebtor management & debt collectionBank reconciliationsResponding to customer queries relating to their accountGeneral office duties as required
The ideal candidate would have great MYOB experience, a positive and proactive attitude, sound computer skills with a high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner are essential to be successful in the role.
Successful candidate must have own transport.
