OfficeMate is a rapidly expanding Office Stationery & Furniture company. We are currently seeking a Purchasing/Accounts Assistant.
Key responsibilities include:

Create and process purchase orders ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

Create preferred supplier catalogues and price lists for company employees

Undertake negotiations with suppliers to ensure the company's value for money on all purchases of goods and services

Manage and review suppliers and contractors to ensure the efficient use of their goods and services

Expedite all open purchase orders

Maintain desired inventory levels

Accounts payable/receivable

Debtor management & debt collection

Bank reconciliations

Responding to customer queries relating to their account

General office duties as required

The ideal candidate would have great MYOB experience, a positive and proactive attitude, sound computer skills with a high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner are essential to be successful in the role.
Successful candidate must have own transport.
