A highly regardedand innovative multicultural law firm located in Sydney CBD and Melbourne CBDis looking for an enthusiastic candidate from an Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese),Philippino, Vietnamese or Korean speaking background candidate to join our teamto perform tasks as a Solicitor/ Paralegal personnel. Our main area isimmigration.
In this role, yourduties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Assisting the legal/immigration team with paralegal tasks such as draftingcorrespondence
- Review latest immigration policy/regulations and thereby assist Solicitorswith drafting documents for various visa applications.
- Prepare legal documents in areas of general law practice includingImmigration Law, Family Law, Commercial Law, Litigation etc.
An ideal candidatewill meet these requirements:
- Post Qualification 2 years’ experience (preferred)
- Possess a University degree with excellent academic records
- IELTS score of 7.0 or better
- Be fluent in Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese), Vietnamese or Korean
- Quick learner
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
