维州政府2012年新预算今日出炉，备受欢迎的州政府首次置业补贴$13,000澳元被取消，这一针对新建房的首次置业补贴将于今年6月30日截止。
不过，联邦政府的$7000澳元首次置业补贴政策依然延续。
Housing
The budget's forecast of a modest pick-up in the property market may be hurt by the axing of the popular First Home Owners bonus.
Not rolling over the bonus which was due to expire in June this year is expected to provide savings of $163 million next year.
But cutting the bonus is likely to be unpopular with the housing industry as it deprives prospective new home owners $13,000, with $6,500 added for regional areas, towards the cost of their newly built dwelling.
The government had committed to continue funding its base $7000 first home owners grant.
