The Role
Reporting to the Office Manager/Accountant you will be responsible for the following:
1. Learn and understand the database system, and in particular the accounts receivable process on the system: invoicing, adjustments, banking, credit note, refunds and debtor management.
2. Reconcile bank accounts daily, including preparation of cash batches, and prepare transfers and direct payments.
3. General Ledger Software - ACCPAC Modules include Accounts payable, General Ledger, Cash Book, Eftpac, Backup.
4. Monthly Excel Accounts for states
5. Preparation of work papers for BAS
Other office and record keeping duties as required.
The Candidate
You will have already been working in a similar role for a stable amount of time. Your attention to detail will be proven in the cover letter attached with your application detailing your experience with the above criteria points 1 - 5. As well you will be able to take direction, work autonomously and also fit in with the team.
Essential: accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and an understanding of sales invoices. As this role requires a great deal of phone work your verbal communication must be clear.

Benefits
