I provide exam study techniques, typical past exam questions, memorisation techniques and tricks, homework exercises, graphical or visual learning, written or algebratic learning and real world examples, free email and SMS help and support.I have been teaching mathematics for more than 20 years through their VCE and IB studies. My students come from all around Melbourne including Balwyn, Kew, Hawthorn, Camberwell, Glen Iris, Box Hill, Doncaster, Doncaster East, Templestowe, Blackburn, Glen Weverley, Rosanna, Williamstown, Essendon, and Point Cook. My maths classroom is near Balwyn High School. My students are around over the world, including Harvard University, California Institute of Technology, University of Melbourne, Monash University, La Trobe University and RMIT.I had a Doctor’s degree in Applied Statistics from La Trobe University in Australia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Biostatistics in China. I won the 1st place in the 1979 Mathematics Competition in Jinan City, and the 11th place in the 1979 Mathematics competition in Shandong Province, China. I was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne, Monash University, and Deakin University, respectively. I was appointed as an Associate Professor of Biostatistics at Alberta University, Canada. Now I am the Director and Founding Professor at the Dr James Maths Coaching Centre in Melbourne.
