                Compliance Analyst - Investment Banking

Leading US investment banking group with significant operations globally. Opportunity to join the local operations in an junior to mid level role to support the Australian control room function.
Reporting to the Director of Control Room you will be part of a small team based out of the Sydney office for investment research, investment banking products and conflicts of interest. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining Chinese walls across the firm through the maintenance of the grey and restricted lists, ensuring compliance with US and local regulations relating to research, including securities regulations and research independence regulations. You will also have interface with the greater business and contribute to any regional and global initiatives.
The ideal applicant will be degree qualified with strong academic results and have good written and verbal communication skills and preferably prior control room experience. Other compliance, legal or audit experience maybe considered. Must be able to prioritize and work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
