                Product Support Engineer

Special Purpose Equipment

A global Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) company has a technical role available for a degree qualified Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer at their regional SE Asian office, which is located in Wollongong.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will provide applications development and technical support to manufacturing, clients and distributors throughout Australia and SE Asia, from India and Malaysia to China and Vietnam. Your duties will include:

advice on engineering systems maintenance & servicing.
product development coordination.
provision of technical advice and training to distributors & clients.

The person we seek would ideally have:

Mechanical, Mechatronics or similar Degree qualifications.
good people & interpersonal skills.
ability to work independently with product distributors & business customers.
willingness to learn & develop as the regional technical representative.
availability for regular overseas travel.
advanced computer literacy, ideally including basic knowledge of AutoDesk Inventor 3D modelling software.
exposure to ISO systems administration.
