Job Description
Responsibilities:
preparation of hot and cold foods (commercial quantities)
Stock control and minimize food wastage
Cleaning and maintaining a hygienic work environment at all times
Strictly follow menu specifications as well as food safety / HACCP policies
demonstrate flexibility in regards to working on a 7 day roster including weekends and public holidays

Selection Criteria:
Must have previous experience in authentic Chinese cooking, either restaurant or production based
Flexibility in regards to working hours (7 day operation)
Ability to communicate in English
Good knife skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Motivated and hard working
Ability to work under pressure in a busy open plan kitchen
Clear understanding of HACCP
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment preferred
references required
