Dataweave have offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane and manage customers’ Oracle databases worldwide.
Dataweave is looking for a Datbase Administrator/Developer to join their team in their Sydney office.
Responsibilities:
Installing and upgrading database systems
Running health checks on database systems
Developing SQL and Unix scripts
Developing and supporting APEX applications
Installing and configuring Linux and VM
Monitoring the customer online help desk system and responding to requests for assistance
Producing monthly reports on database status

Requirements:
Strong Communication Skills - both written and spoken
Knowledge of RDBMS and SQL concepts and usage.
Knowledge of Oracle or MS-SQL database architecture.
Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle APEX or M.S. T-SQL programming.
Knowledge of UNIX shell scripting and/or Windows/DOS batch programming.
C++ or Java programming knowledge.

Qualifications:
Successful candidate must be studying towards a qualification in Information Technology / Information Systems / Database Systems (Oracle) or a related field from an Australian University.

Also the applicant must be prepared to enrol in a University program in order to receive scholarship payments if offered the scholarship.

Must have a bridging visa or at least a visa with no work or study restriction.

Scholarship Amount is $35,000 paid over 52 weeks on a tax free basis
