什么时候送好这个问题在坛子里讨论了无数遍。有些说3岁，有些说2岁，有些说越早越好。
2岁多的儿子上childcare快两个月了，算是基本适应了。吃得不错，也睡午觉了。如果要一句话总结，我觉得去幼儿园后他吃饭、睡觉都进步了，也开始会跟人share，说话也多了，但最大的弊端就是生病。
现在我早上送他去离开的时候，他虽然不情愿跟我bye，有时还要假哭一下，但有老师安抚，他很快就没事了。我依然清晰记得，送他去的第一周，我的心碎了一地。第一天哭了一天，有老师抱着就不哭，不吃不睡。第二天早上看到我走开，就趴地上狂哭。从来没看到他这么伤心哭过。他平时在家很独立的，到处玩自己找乐子，不喜欢你抱着。只有他需要帮助了，他才找你。去到不认识的朋友家，也从来不害羞，跟自己家一样。
我当时为此翻了Robin Barker（她写的Baby Love在澳洲算是育儿宝典之一了）的The Mighty Toddler读完childcare那一章。她没有直接回答什么时候送好这个问题，因为每个家庭的情况都不同。如果没人带，不论多大都要送，这就是现实生活。给我的感觉是，有条件的话，2岁前不要送，2岁后可以送一些时间，但不是每天很长时间那种。
分享下里面的内容：
?宝宝需要通过幼儿园来社交吗？2岁前，家庭之间和朋友之间的社交活动就足够了，他们不需要每天在幼儿园花好几个小时跟别的宝宝社交。到2或3岁时，小朋友开始适应在一定时间内跟别的小朋友在一个群体里玩。
?2岁前送幼儿园有害吗？也不是洪水猛兽。在小朋友的成长发育中，最有力的影响来自基因、家庭、邻里社区、朋友、社会经济地位和妈妈的心理健康。小朋友健康成长的主要因素还是社会经济地位、父母的受教育水平、家庭环境、邻里社区、父母的育儿质量，而不是他们有没有去过幼儿园。
?2岁以前的小朋友建议一对一的照顾。小朋友在2岁前需要关爱他们的人见证他们的成长，他们每一天都在进步和变化。
?3岁前是人一生中最脆弱的阶段，不仅仅是在生理上对成人的生存依赖，还有在心理上对成人的依赖。小朋友在3岁前也最需要成人的注意力和监督。
?去幼儿园的弊端是增加了生病的机率。在小朋友的免疫力增强之前，去幼儿园生病的几率增加了30%。
?研究显示，在一小群长期呆幼儿园（每周超过30小时）的小朋友中，在他们的行为、认知和社交方面可能存在出现问题的小风险，但幼儿园的质量在这方面起了很大作用。
?通常，小朋友需要8周的时间适应幼儿园。如果小朋友在上幼儿园后，回到家（即使你在旁边）没有出现持续的忧伤、没活力、非常粘人，就继续观察到8周再说。
?一个有趣的漫画：一些宝宝没去幼儿园，他们错过了什么？一些宝宝爸爸努力工作，妈妈不上班，他们错过了什么？一些宝宝爸爸妈妈都兼职上班，他们在家呆一些时间，在幼儿园呆一些时间，他们能应付吗？一些宝宝爸爸妈妈都没有工作在家，他们有多幸运？

How do I find out my child’s eating, nappy change and sleeping? Do you have a daily sheet or notice board? Can I call the staff during the day?

When is nappy change time? Can I bring our own nappies? Can you apply nappy cream when necessary? Will you help with toilet training?

When is the meals time? Will you help with feeding?

When is the sleep time? Do you help to settle the child to sleep like patting?

When do the kids go out to play in the morning and in the afteroon? Can we bring our own sunscreen? Will you help with applying the sunscreen?

Can we bring our own water bottle? Will the staff remind the kids of drinking water throughout the day?

What's the menu? How often do you repeat the menu?

Will the teachers help with feeding?

Do you charge admin fee upon enrolment?

How much do you charge per day? Any discount for public holiday and family holiday?

我们的不是council的，council的那个给了3天，我们起码要4天。你们排到了就去吧，council的不会差到哪的，起码staff稳定。
