圣诞节袋鼠岛游记

圣诞节恰逢年终结账，只能在24号请一天年假，前后加起来也只有5天假期。太远的地方是去不了了，在看了sylviaqian的中部游记之后，袋鼠岛就成了我们的目标。早在10月份我就订好了阿特雷德和袋鼠岛的房间，连sealink的摆渡费也在网上付好了。然而就在出发前两周，袋鼠岛发生森林大火，差点去不成了。还好大火终于被扑灭了。为了保险起见，我打电话去问了一下，说受影响的只是西南角，seal bay 和中部东北部都没有问题，又看到新闻官员呼吁大家不要取消行程，因为袋鼠岛的经济是靠旅游业支撑的，不要让袋鼠岛在遭受10年来最大的火灾之后，还要在经济上遭受打击。所以我们决定原定行程不变，支持一下袋鼠岛，Melbourne - Adelaide--Kangaroo Island—Melbourne (5 Days by car)

This is an area of spectacular white sand-dunes, surrounded by bush vegetation. Climbing over the first ridge you are confronted by a second much higher dune which, when scaled, does not reveal the coast as one would expect, but more dunes flanked by bushland.

再去Seal Bay beach， 20 km, 30 minutes drivingGuided tours of Seal Bay beach :4:15pm
- 5:00 pm (fees=$13.5x3+$8 = $48.50)            我本来以为只要赶上时间，一定可以参加Guided tours的，没有导游带领是不能去沙滩近距离看海狮的，那就没啥意思了。可等我们赶到，竟然被通知fully booked了，而且4点15是最后一批，第二天圣诞节关门，26号我们就要回去了。我很失望，还好失望的不止我一个，公园一看还有好些人想参观，临时又组织了一个special tour， 总算没有白跑。 澳洲旅游休闲 http://www.ozabc.com/forum-55-1.html
