Beach Petroleum Limited (BPT) is an oil and gas producer, developer and explorer. The company holds interests in more than 60 exploration and production tenements in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. Its primary areas of activity are the Cooper/ Eromanga, Surat and Gippsland basins of eastern Australia.Company Strategy
BPT has made the transition from explorer to top 10 oil and gas producer with it recently gaining entry into the S&P/ASX 200 Index. Total Proved and Probable reserves as at July 2006 were 36.2mmboe. FY07 production is forecast at 3.7mmboe (excluding Delhi). In September 2006, BPT acquired Delhi Petroleum which holds equity in excess of 200 oil and gas fields in the Cooper and Eromanga Basin. BPTs other key strategic asset is the Basker Manta Gummy project, of which it has a 50% interest in. Full production of 25,000bopd is expected shortly, with current 2P reserves standing at 39.2mmbbls. BPT also has a 40% interest in the Tipton West Coal

It failed to brake above $1.50 resistance last time and SP started dropping towards $1.25 support.
During the last few days it looks like BPT is forming a base around 150 day SMA.Resistance: $1.35, $1.50
Support: $1.28(current), $1.25, $1.05
