Allegiance is progressing towards production at the underground Avebury nickel mine in Tasmania. Production is forecast to begin in mid 2007, at a rate of 8,500t of Nickel in concentrate per year for a minimum 8 years and at a cash cost of US2.20/lb. The company has stated that the mine life is not resource constrained. The resource stands at 10Mt @ 1.14% Ni for 114,000t Ni. Concentrate will be railed to the nearby Burnie Flats port, where it will be shipped off to Jinchuan Nickel Group of China via a US$1.3bn offtake and partnership agreement. Allegiances concentrate will command a premium price because it is one of the highest concentrate grades in the world, at around 22%. 没有。好像要到2008年。但是他们现在有钱可以做到投产了。
