1. Always show interest, but never desperateness. Prepare to walk away if the offer is not even close to what u want to pay.2. Research what the other providers offer and charge, it's ok to bluff a little bit, but gotta be realistic (don't bluff something like Fat Prophets give me an offer $50 for a year - only morons will believe it.)3. Don't rush to accept the offer at the first time, let them wait saying you need sometime to think about it and they would be the first one who start getting impatient. Don't believe "our promotion is closing tomorrow", believe or not, i never buy such marketing tricks and i can always get the promotional price no matter how many dates im late. Call them back or let them call you at the end of the week/month, so you are doing the sales person a favor to top up his bonus of the week/month, |
