2座的van可以接送孩子吗？

家里有2辆车，其中一辆是2座的van，偶尔需要用来接送孩子，孩子一个5岁，一个2岁，需要baby seat，可以在2座的van驾驶位旁边装baby seat用来接送孩子吗？交规允许吗？

谢谢，car seat都是朝前的，2岁的也可以吧，
