Salary Packaging 好像不值啊

我之前比较过，基本上亏很大，除非你一年开的公里数非常多。

how much is considered as high income? i am considering the salary sacrifice for my next car

It's worth it if your salary is over 60K and due to the fact salary packaging involves pre-tax money, the higher KMs the higher petrol consumed, therefore if everything comes our pre-tax, you save more money.
You will be able to enjoy some fleet discounts as well, including the purchase price and servicing.
All running cost associated with the car comes out of your salary pre-tax as well including CTP, REGO, insurance, servicing, fuel and tyres.
Epac use to be called Direct Salary Packaging, changed its name after being acquired by RACV.

The only exception is where your income is lower than $50k or even less, OR if your car is too expensive say more than $200,000 (your car is around $75,000) and annual mileage is lower than few thousand Km.Just a very rough calculation, you can save 38.5%x$600x12month= $2,772a year. This figure could be much higher if you choose shorter lease term.
