You Can! But you will get ripped off if you don't pay attention to details and get the right resources to the do the job.
Do you due diligence - research first, you don't need to have all the knowledge about knockdown and building, you can pay the professionals to help you. But you do need the basic knowledge.
Find good professionals - building laywer, architect, building inspector/engineer to back you up against the builder.

花多点时间找个好BUILDER, 做大量RESEARCH.
RIPPED OFF的事情.比较过价格就知道了嘛.
其实也不是很花时间.
