I'm brand new to this forum and have to have your expertise. I am sashiko quilting a silk complete cloth quilt (batting and backing are cotton) and am fearful of marking on prime in the quilt. The client chose an ecru silk and I am stitching w/ecru pearl cotton (#8) so I'm seriously afraid of leaving marks around the quilt best. I study someplace about drawing your quilting design on tissue paper, but how do I retain it attached for the fabric? I could draw the design and style around the backing but will not my stitches look backward around the face on the quilt?? I personal a drapery workroom and style drapes and window therapies. This quilt was as well as the drapery function I did for this designer. Thank you all for any enable you to can offer. |
