可不可以加建？

如果想改建，扩建，会有影响。如果就买个房子自己一直住，应该没有什么影响

这个房本身不是古迹房，但是在古迹区域。所以房子可以推倒或翻盖，但必须符合council的古迹房规定 --cost会高很多。不过如果只是内部装修，或后院扩盖，就和普通房子没什么区别。

最好去询问council，这些事不找到确定的答案，自己心里不会安稳。别人说的都不能作准。

Conservation areas are areas in which their history and elements such as pattern of subdivision, building style and siting, landscaping and streetscape create a cohesive sense of place that is worth protecting.
Within conservation areas there is a
focus on the protection of the external envelope of buildings, gardens, and structures.
Conservation areas generally recognise that many buildings have significant heritage value and are expected to be retained, while other buildings are not expected to be retained as they may be of little heritage value.
There are 11 Heritage Conservation Areas within the Parramatta local government area (LGA) that demonstrate the following phases of Parramatta’s history:
