agen ask sign the contract before owner accepte the offer

gave the offer to agent and agent ask us to sign contract and he can give to owner .
not sure what to do ?

拍卖前3天出offer是没有cooling off

that property is not for auctions.
so just wondering whether should have cooling period in the contract.
