A clearance rate of 76 per cent was recorded this weekend compared to 70 per cent last weekend and 60 per cent this weekend last year.
There were 1246 auctions reported to the REIV today, with 932 selling and 314 being passed in, 192 of those on a vendor bid.

Super Saturday has delivered a very strong result with over $1.2 billion worth of property sold today and a new record for the number of auctions held in one day in Melbourne.
Next weekend the REIV expects around 200 auctions as it is the weekend before Melbourne Cup.
