manufacturer warranty
?
If i buy a HP iPAQ from an OZ's store and it comes with
the manufacturer warranty
. If i send it to New Zealand for a friend , does the
manufacturer warranty
valid in NZ?

manufacturer warranty means the distributor/retail doesn't care about the warranty. Well, they can if they choose to but they don't have to. So whenever you need warranty service you need to send it back to the manufacturer's service center for repairs.
Don't matter who owns it, warranty is transferred with ownership.
Can you service it in NZ? Depends on the T&C of the warranty. Please read your user manual. Usually it's okay between NZ and Aus but need to check it out.
