The travel strategy is to explore is always look at weather forecast first to roughly decide indoor (museum, opera) or more outdoor, but it can be only a reference point to start with :) The tower bridge in the sunny day is just stunning, I remember I was not prepare to stop but just jump of the bus and have a big wow.
