Holden says 27,074 cars are affected in total.According to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s product safety recalls website, the recall is for “the driven gear in the wiper motor” which “may fail due to incorrect grease application”.The hazard, according to the site, is that “if the defect occurs, the windscreen wipers may not work and visibility may be reduced, potentially posing an accident hazard to the driver and other road users”.The recall affects cars within the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) range of 6G1EK8E49CL711575 – 6G1NP |
