LZ chose a wrong way to lose weight. You are starving yourself so your metabolism will get lower and lower, which means you burn less fat while not moving.
You should exercise and gain muscle to raise your metabolism, so you are constantly burning fat even in your sleep.
It worked for me, I exercise 4 days a week and lost 10 kg in a year (body is quite toned, especially belly and shoulders, so I look better than before when I had the same weight but less muscle), this week I'm sick so I didn't go to the gym at all and eating quite rich chicken soup, my weight is still dropping, all thanks to high metabolism
