                Our firm is one of the most prestigious and recognised accolades in the mortgage and finance industry in Australia. We are also very much focus in providing financial services to clients in the Asian/Chinese community. With an aim to develop into a diversified financial service model, we are currently expanding our footprint in Australia.
We are looking for an experienced Finance Broker with strong private portfolio to join our practice in the Sydney area.
Our brokers have full back-end processing and post-settlement support. The loans processing team takes care of the loan file from submission through to settlement and beyond, so you can focus on sales activities and build relationships.
You will be responsible for writing existing business such as top ups, refinances and investment loans as well as new business loans internally referred and self sourced.
The right candidate can potentially earn 100K to 150K p.a. ($40K base salary + commission).
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a mortgage broker or lending officer
- Familiar with real estate and financial services market in Sydney
- Ability to present finance solutions to clients in a clear and articulate fashion, excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage client expectation, when working with third parties
- Ability to manage the loan process from application through to settlement
- Ability to cross sell
- Ability to work autonomously
- Experience in a multi-disciplinary practice which called for collaboration with accountants and financial planners will be highly regarded
- A high level of attention to details and numerical accuracy
- Cantonese speaking is a must, able to read and write Chinese
- Australian permanent residency or citizen
