JOB OFFER: SALES AND ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT (in consumer electronics industry)

We are seeking to bring on board a junior sales and administration assistant to support the sales and marketing director and join our dynamic team.
The position will see you play an integral role in supporting the Sales and Marketing Director.

Your duties will be broad and varied and will include:
Assist in the expedition of purchasing orders and in generating sales orders
Assist in arranging freight bookings and deliveries to clients
Assist in the preparation of retail presentations as required
Assist in monthly sales reports
Assist customers with product knowledge & selection
General assistance to the Sales and Marketing Director
Assist in general office administration
Participate to professional fairs
Handle direct communication with our factory team in China (Mandarin language is mandatory)

Your communications skills must be impeccable including faultless written and grammatical ability as well as 100% accuracy of work.
The successful applicant will be able to anticipate, initiate and co-ordinate administrative activities, be proactive and able to multi-task.

Essential Requirements
You must speak and write English and Mandarin
Must possess strong time management, communication and presentation and interpersonal skills.
Excellent computer skills with proficiency of Windows Suite including PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
High attention to details
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to communicate effectively with customers
Be able to work under pressure
Be able to take responsibility for their outputs
Be 100% customer focused
Awareness of current fashion trends is a plus
Must be resourceful, interested in new technologies and had an electronics products savvy
You must be eligible to work in Australia (resident or working visa)
