820 DE-FACTO VISA DIY - APPROVED IN 14 DAYS

Sponsored my partner for a subclass 820 visa on de-factoground. The application was approved today and here are the details:
Actual length of relationship: 75 months
Claimed length of relationship (with evidence): 15 months
Date of application: 27th June 2011
Date of approval: 11th July 2011
This was a DIY application and we went by the standardchecklist from the DIAC website. Evidence of our relationship was reasonably wellprepared but I believe we could have done a better job.

The processing speed did come to us as a big suprise considering the evidence we provided were prepared in 1 day and may be a bit below the expectation. But none the less, I'm glad to see that we are both over the line now, considering how long I have waited as an IT pro in G4 2 years ago. Good luck to everyone.
