A Student visa is a temporary visa that allows people to come to Australia for a specified period to undertake study at an Australian educational institution.While many international students make the decision to apply for permanent residence at the end of their studies, there is no guarantee that, on the basis of having held a Student visa, they will meet the requirements to be granted permanent residence.Transitional arrangements for studentsOn 8 February 2010 the Australian Government announced a number of changes to its skilled migration program. These changes included the withdrawal of the Migration Occupations in Demand List (MODL) and the introduction of a new Skilled Occupation List (SOL) from 1 July 2010.Transitional arrangements are in place for people who held an eligible Student visa (subclass 572, 573 or 574) when the reforms were announced on 8 February 2010. If you held an eligible Student visa on this date you can apply for a Temporary Skilled Graduate visa (Subclass 485) until 31 December 2012 using the Skilled Occupation List in effect on 8 February 2010.

主要说的2010年2月8日持有学生签证的申请人，可以用如下的职业提名清单在2012年底前申请485签证。

那2012年12月31日之后，在2010.2.8持有学生签证的人，没有了485，那怎么安排呢？还是没有说明啊。很多人都是2013年或者是2014年毕业。PSW有资格申请吗？哪里有说明说申请PSW，需要2011年11月拿到第一个学生签证的人才有资格申请？

请不要担心，有类似问题的申请人很多。移民局会稍后给予一个具体解释的，一定会有一个可以临时签证可以申请的，安心尽早准备一个雅思四个六分用于485签证申请。
