传说中的EOI目前处于初期阶段，下得很慢，后续应该会逐步加快的。通告一下！

报告主要内容如下：
1。由于EOI系统处于初期试运行阶段，所以首月份邀请的人数不多，这与实际平均的规划量少了许多。今后会加大邀请量，使得整体邀请量满足年度配额计划。其主要目的是为了使系统运行的更顺畅，而采取的逐步加大的策略。
2。首次邀请的100位人员当中，90位来自189独立技术移民潜在申请人，10位来自边远地区家庭类担保的潜在申请人。
3。目前这100位当中录取的最低分数为75分，验证了分数从高到低排列的政策。如果分数一样的申请者，则依据VISA STATUS DATE，也即EOI内部状态确定时间为准，谁的EIC体现的日期更早，谁将优先获得邀请。
4。在7月份首次EOI递交统计报告中，我们可以看出，当月EOI总共递交了8261份申请，这应该比大部分人员预测的数字要少的多。而且包括了所有技术移民的类别，值得注意的是独立技术移民类189签证（也即大部分留学生首要考虑的签证选项）其递交的EOI数目境内外加起来总计才2176个申请。具体各个类别的数目如下：

5。移民部预计下一轮邀请，会在9月1日发出。
6。在100位EOI申请人当中，会计有17位被自动选中，获得邀请函。
我们的疑问：
1。在这类选中的人员当中，是否存在着废票呢？毕竟移民部这个系统无需任何材料即可递交EII申请，所以静观其变。
2。首轮选中的100位当中，最低的分数为75分，那是否代表今年60分的同学无法获得邀请呢？或许未必，毕竟能获得75分的潜在申请人还属于少数。
3。今后是否会有一些细微的EOI政策调整呢？ 或许还是静静的等待吧

SkillSelect Invitations to apply to migrate - Round 1 August 2012 Results
On 1 August 2012 the first automated round of invitations to apply to migrate under the skilled independent and skilled family sponsored visas was completed under SkillSelect.
As SkillSelect is a new system, the first run of invitations was reduced in size, to allow us to ensure that all elements of the SkillSelect and electronic lodgement system are working smoothly. While this first round of invitations was small, we expect to be increasing the number of invitations issued in future invitation rounds, so that Australia can benefit from the high quality client submitting Expressions of Interest through SkillSelect. It is anticipated that the next run of invitations will occur on 1 September 2012.
Automated rounds of invitations to apply to migrate result in invitations for the following visas:
?Skilled Independent (subclass 189) visa; and
?Skilled – Nominated or Sponsored (Provisional) (subclass 489) visa (Family Sponsored)
This process does not include nominations by state and territory governments, which also result in invitations being issued. State and territory governments have been nominating clients since 1 July 2012 and data on outcomes is provided below.
1 August results
The number of invitations to apply to migrate issued under the August 2012 round was 100 places. This is a significantly lower number than the numbers that will be invited for future rounds. The table below shows the allocation of places by the subclass of visa:

Invitation process and cut offs
In each round of invitations to apply to migrate, the highest point scorers for each subclass are invited to apply for the relevant visa. For clients who have the same level of points, the time at which they reached their current points score in that subclass (referred to as the visa status date) determines the order of invitation. EOIs with earlier visa status dates are invited before later status dates.
In this round, the lowest points score invited, and the latest visa status date invited were:

Occupational Ceilings
Invitations to apply to migrate are subject to yearly occupational ceilings or upper limits. In the August round, no occupation reached its ceiling.

澳大利亚签证申请中心即将落成
自2012年9月10日起，澳大利亚移民及公民事务部将改变在中国提供签证服务的方式。其中两项主要调整包括：
第一、北京和上海采用澳大利亚签证申请中心；
第二、在中国境内创设若干“签证评审中心”。
由此也将引起客户递交签证申请的地点与递交方式的变化。
采用澳大利亚签证申请中心的主要内容为：两家由VFSGlobalPtyLtd运营的澳大利亚签证申请中心将于2012年9月10日在北京和上海开设。澳大利亚签证申请中心将接收签证申请，处理客户在递交签证申请前的基本问询，收取签证申请费用，并提供申请进展在线查询。采用澳大利亚签证申请中心可以使客户获得更多信息，并享受延长营业时间和简化流程所带来的更便捷的移民服务。
创设签证受理中心。从9月10日起，除了采用澳大利亚签证申请中心之外，中国境内一些签证申请的评审地点也将有所变化。将签证申请汇集到大型签证评审中心一齐进行评审可以极大地规范签证评审、签证下签的一致性，并提高DIAC在整个区域内的客户服务质量。
从2012年9月10日起，居住在北京领区和上海领区辖省市的客户若要申请澳大利亚签证，须在北京或上海的澳大利亚签证申请中心递交申请。广州辖区的客户若想亲自递交澳大利亚签证申请，须直接将其申请递交至澳大利亚驻广州领事馆签证处。由外交部或当地外事办公室为政府官员申请的签证、ADS旅行或澳大利亚公民身份申请目前的递交和评审安排将不作变化。这些签证申请须在最近的澳大利亚签证处直接递交。

Changes to Australian Visa Service Delivery in China
From 10 September 2012 the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) is changing the way immigration services will be delivered in China.
The two key changes include the:

Introduction of Australian Visa Application Centres (AVACs) in Beijing and Shanghai

Changes to visa processing locations.
As a result of these changes, the location and the way that a client lodges a visa application may also changeIntroduction of AVACs
Two AVACs operated by VFS Global Pty Ltd, will be opened in Beijing and Shanghai on 10 September 2012.
The AVACs will:

accept visa applications and charges

handle basic enquiries from clients before application is lodged

return passports

provide an online application tracking facility.
The introduction of AVACs will provide more convenient access to immigration services for clients through greater access to information, extended service hours and streamlined processing. Changes to visa processing locations
In addition to the introduction of AVACs, there will also be changes to where certain visa applications are processed in China from 10 September 2012.
Consolidating visa processing for certain visa applications into processing centres will enable a greater level of consistency in processing and decision-making and will improve the service the department provides to clients in this region.Impact on clients
These changes mean from 10 September 2012, clients who reside in provinces within the Beijing and Shanghai catchment areas applying for most Australian visas should lodge their application at an AVAC in either Beijing or Shanghai.
Clients in the Guangzhou catchment applying in person or by post for an Australian visa should continue to lodge their application directly with the Australian Visa Office at the Australian Consulate in Guangzhou.
There will be no change to the current lodgement and processing arrangements for Government officials applying via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) or their local Foreign Affairs Office (FAO), Australian Destination Status (ADS) travel or Australian citizenship by Descent applications which should continue to be lodged directly with the nearest Australian Visa Office.More Information

个人情况：本科生物医学工程（Bio-Medical Engineering），国内排名前十高校，毕业后进入银行工作至今。想到澳洲读硕并希望移民。虽然现在英语已经退化很多，但对英语学习和提高有自信（尤其在国外英语环境中）。就移民而言，初步有以下几个专业考虑：
1）本专业生物医学工程。毕业后工作与专业完全不相关，但看了Sol生物医学工程在其中。请问，生物医学工程毕业后在澳洲当地的就业情况怎么样？                    收入大概在什么水平？学校有什么推荐？
2）商科类，会计，金融，经济，管理类。和工作相关，工作中也积累了不少经济金融方面的知识。但专业跨度很大（本科生物医学工程）申请是否会很难？好像只有会计在Sol中（会计很热啊，不会一个班里有一半多都是中国人吧），读其他的专业想移民是不是很难？
3）教育类。听说对英语要求很高，不过有信心在2年的学习生活中达到要求。性格也是外向开朗型的，自己的物理和数学也不错（中学时拿过奖）。不知道这条路可行性如何？还有澳洲的Secondary和Primary School教师的收入水平？
4）采矿工程师。不太了解这一行，但其在sol中并且是工程类专业。想说在专业适应性方面可能还OK，想咨询一下其就业前景，收入水平？

[color=]----是啊，很高，比如7，7，8，8 或者类似的情况都有。先不谈收入，呵呵，能读下来就很难了。雅思入学要求高啊！！
