mum and dad cannot do much because of english!
3 years ago, this unit was the cheapest and far far away from the city, and that was the only one my dad could afford!
We were maybe the first Chinese there!
They thought that is their home in Australia forever.....
now...heart broken....
we will keep fighting till we could not do further!
today we recieved a letter from the other 2 units said the would not attend the meeting I called....
consumer affairs suggested that we still can have the meeting and it would be a valid meeting.
I'm seeking more legal advice on that!

we have already paid, but we know we could not win to vote her out, because it is always 2 against 2.
besides, the other unit who is on the same boat may sale his place soon because he could not take any more!

来日方长,你真想弄她,有的是办法。有人走,就会有人来,没什么大不了的。只是你最好不要意气用事,要想明白自己是为什么,是不满意她对你的态度,还是她处理问题的做法有问题。如果是前者,你最好等到下次她再说你什么的时候,直接骂她,她根本就不能怎么样,哪怕她报警,你也可以说她冒犯你在先,撕破脸的话,她的上司也要出面调停的,毕竟你是业主,没有你,她吃什么?如果是后者,最简单的办法是,先去打听一下其他人家的报价,找家便宜的,然后再说服其他业主,不要提之前你的个人恩怨。因为人人都希望交最少的管理费。这个理由,足以让业主动心。

then, just rent....not sure...
it is very stressful!
I have been sitting in front of the computer reading the documents and Acts (laws...) for 7 hours no eating, no drinking....
then...only finished 78 pages...about half of the Act!
and 2 hours online could not figure out if we are wrong or right!

Honestly,you make yourself so stressful. Just as I said,it's not a big deal at all. If you take this too seriously, you won't be happy. It's not your job to be a lawyer here to find out her mistakes.What's your plan?Will you sue her or not? Why not just find a better person to replace her,as long as the new guy offers a better deal? Well, you may sell your property, but what about you have to face a worse situation or meet another nasty person in the future? I guess you'd better move on and let this go, otherwise you'll feel depressed. If someone says something makes me uncomfortable, I'd speak it out straight away instead of thinking about too much.

you are absolutely right!
this is another part of me....always try to achieve perfection like my mum....
i get stressed, depressed...when I feel hopeless.....
I always tell myself....if there is something i have tried my best, no matter what result comes out, I 'll take it; but if I have not done all I can do, I may regret in the future....

1. It doesn't matter how many units are there. My body corporate has a 2-man committee and I'm the chair. The committee is elected during the AGM. Declaring the quorum and electing committee should be done before discuss any general business.
2. The manager can vote as a proxy, only if some owners are absent and authorised he/her to do so. So if unit 1 is present, the manager has no right to vote for unit 1 again at all. If unit 1 is absent, the manager can only vote on behalf of unit 1 -- still, there is just 1 vote for unit 1 (done by the manager). The manager him/herself CANNOT vote because he/she is not an owner.
After all, I don't think you should take it personally. It doesn't matter what tricks they play. If it is illegal, you can always revoke it. No hard feelings.
