Salary: $35,000 - $43,000
Location: Western Suburbs Melbourne
On behalf of our famous and well-regarded client in the international trading, we are seeking to appoint a friendly but persuasive Sales Representative to work in their Melbourne-based operation.
The core function of this role is to engage in sales and management.
The ideal candidate will be a friendly, motivated team player capable of communicating with people from all walks of life and of working in a collaborative environment. This position is perfect for someone who has sales experience.
You MUST have the skills listed below:
? Business-level English essential
? MUST have previous Sales experience
(Food industry is highly regarded)
? Asian language skills such as Chinese, Japanese.
? Own transportation
The key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:
? Build and maintain a good rapport with local suppliers;
? Negotiate costs and contracts;
? Travel by car to meet with existing clients and establish new ones
? Arrange logistics for the transport of products; and
? Handle claims and complaints.
It is essential that you have exceptional negotiation and persuasive skills as well as sales experience in Asian Food Distributor.
