Frog Hollow ReserveOverview
The City of Sydney has recently completed the second stage of the $1.3 million upgrade of Frog Hollow Reserve in Surry Hills.
The second stage of the upgrade has further improved access and provides a variety of spaces for public enjoyment. Works include a variety of ramps and steps, new shade trees and large informal grass areas. The park now provides a space for casual recreation as well as providing an improved pedestrian thoroughfare between Albion and Little Albion Street.
The park was officially opened by the Lord Mayor Clover Moore MP with a celebration on Saturday 24 February 2007.
Background
Frog Hollow Reserve is located on the corner of Albion and Riley Street in Surry Hills, up to 8m below the adjacent streets. Prior to the upgrade, poor accessibility and steep grades on many of the grassed areas limited the use of the park.
