这个树该不该砍？刨根会影响房子吗？

觉得树不大，根不会很大，地面，墙面都没有隆起，没有裂缝。刨根对房子的影响要大于，根腐烂后下陷对房 ...
邻居家的树根都长家里来了，我家院子里地面都隆起了。也不知道对我家房子有影响没。

趁早砍掉，等长大了再砍就影响更大了。有些房子的基础虽然会包着Root Barrier，但也只能缓慢影响的速度。
留根让它慢慢腐烂，泥土自然就会填充进去的

这个得具体对待，各个情况都不一样，FENCE肯定会被顶歪

Within three meter of the house, you should be able to cut it down even if you have to apply council for permission. First read up on what is regulation for your council on cutting and trimming trees. If you are still not sure call them up first to check.
Don't just go and cut down stuff without checking it out first.

ryde区是低于3米还是5米可以自己砍？这个树你买个手锯就行了，下面锯断，再把枝干锯成小段扔绿色垃圾桶。
如果外人看不到，我觉得不申请也无所谓。

A little complicated, most of councils are three meters and under plus a bunch of other conditions. This is really council specific, they usually got it list on their website which you can easily check. It should clearly state under what circumstance you are exempted from applying a permit to cut trees down on your property.
Cutting down is easy, but you don't want nosy neighbours ring the council and dob you in. Some councils even use satellite maps to check if people illegally cutting trees down. Why create problems for yourself where it could be just an easy check on council website.
