Of course you can't have two main residence house at the same time.
You moved into A for 6 months, then moved out to B. A is your main residence within 6 years, which mean you sell A in 6 years with CGT exemption.
For B, the period you rent out(before you move into B) can't be CGT exemption, but the date you moved into B till you move out of B can get partial CGT exemption. If you want fully CGT exemption for B, then A only gets partial CGT exemption.
In one word, you can't have full CGT exemption for 2 properties at the same period. |
