好奇的问一下，大家为什么喜欢双砖房？

double-brick is solid...our house is double-brick one but 30+ yrs old...and I can tell you it's very good in summer------always cool even in hot days. Before this house, we live in a single brick new house------it's not as cool as this old house. This old house has been sitting there for more than 30 yrs...still very solid and strong...low maintence...also in old days they use hard wood for timber...so quite good for termites as well...I think it's very worth it...nowdays it's hard to get this kind of quality.

隔音隔热的好坏很看这个夹层使用了什么材料，贵的有专用的矿物材料，便宜的有棉花、加工过的废纸渣等等
本来空气是很好的材料，但是很多新的单砖房子，施工时为了省时间，没有认真做砖和板之间的密封，空气夹层的效果直线下降
有兴趣的话，搜索一下insulation，就有很多介绍
