You can borrow up to 95% of your purchase price (subject to valuation) but you will have to pay lender Mortgage Insurance which will cost you a fortunate.
If you borrow more than 80%, you need to meet all the following criterias:
1. work for current job more than 12 months history;
2. Only can accept your last two pay slips and calcuate your base pay only;
3. Lender Mortgage Insurance Applies;
4. 5% Genuine Savings applies, you need to provide last 3 months bank statements as proof of 5% of your purchase price;
5. Apartment will subject to be validated if you can borrow more than 80%. Generally speaking, high density apartment Westpac will only lend 80%. |
