保费应该会有所提高，因为你买的时候应该是享受了no claim discount的

个人认为，买保险的意义就在于有损失的时候可以找他们share，claim一些损失回来，干嘛算来算去，得出“还不如自己花钱replace”的结论呢？这样你就别买保险了，用保费去买新电脑好了。
建议好好读一下保险的条款，看你的电脑是该怎么索赔的。个人感觉2年前的1500刀电脑，目前给你赔1000刀，已经很好了呀~

Besides, content insurance is a small proportion of the total premium, say about $150 in addition to your building insurance. Are you sure you can use 保费, this $150 去买新电脑? Think about it before you make any comments.

同等配置 means:
same size of screen, same capacity of hard disk, memory etc. not the same 型号, of course.
