Army base in holsworthy, majority of population there is white aussie family who work in the army or in liverpool. There are also some Indian family, but u can rarely see chinese. Direct train to the city takes 40minutes.
Wattle grove is the best suburb around, all houses are 15-20 years old, the environment is very peaceful with a little lake and a small coles. local wattle grove primary school is not bad and the community organize lots of family activities. A typical single storey brick veneer house is around 500k. if you pay 700k u can get a really big double storey house. Price has been increasing steadily over the last 5 years.
The surrounding suburbs are all older than wattle grove, such as moorbank and holsworthy, houses are generally 30-50 years old, so the house prices are relatively lower in those older suburbs too. |
