Every council has a 4-5 times Cleanup Collection days in a year when the council will come to collect old furniture, fridges, tree branches, etc. You can leave your branches on your natural strip and tie them properly (no longer than 2 metres). You can call your council to find out the cleanup dates for your council. I am from Ryde, we also have free chipping and mulching service. All you need to do is book the service with the council an leave all branches outside on the natural strip, they will come to chip the tree branches. You can use these wood chips/mulch for your flower or vegitation bed - very good to keep your plants moisted. |
