basically the agent want to keep you interested... not want you to give up. maybe waiting for higher offer
have you paid 10%? when is cooling off period end?

No, I paid nothing so far. No contract, no deposit, no cooling off period. It's just the beginning of the game.

无所谓这个中介有没有其他的OFFER，这条短信太失败了 。
不了解SA的购房法律流程，不过LZ可以放心和中介磨了，互相钓着吧。 这个过程应该蛮好玩的。

I texted the agent back as below.

"in my opinion the house is not worth that price and at this time I would prefer to continue looking, if you list any other residences please contact me. Thankyou for you help."

Unexpectedly, he sent me a message " Did you see ***?" *** is a house on the same street sold by a different REA before the inspection I was expecting to go to one week ago. I don't know how much it was sold.

But I replied "No. When will you open it?"

Honestly, this is the first house I have seen in that area. I'd rather view a few more to know about that area. No rush to take money out of my pocket.
