Give the check to your solicitor. But the check pay to "office of state revenue". Double check the payee with your solicitor.

what about the second 10% deposit? (The first one has been paid to real estate agency and 20% total for down payment.)
cheque make out to agency as well?

Check with your solicitor.
10% deposit will be held by vendor's solicitor or agent (trust account).  Other checks are for the settlement. At that time, look at your settlement statement first.
