try serviceseek.com.au and hipages.com.au. they are free.
at least get three quoates from both chinese/local. i have bullt a pergola 3.2m L x 2.2 M W x 3.7 M H timer pergola with heat/uv resistance polycarb roofing last week.
Three Chinese carpenters (from chinese newspapers) have quoted me from $2000 to $2500. Three local white carpenters (from serviceseek/hipages) have quoted me from $990 to $1750. chinese are not cheapest.

yes. polycarbon roof like laserlite has three grades and different prices.
UV resistance only is cheapest
UV/Heat Resistance is the middle range with 58% heat reduction
most expansive are UV/Heat resistance plus metallic flake that is close to 66% heat reduction.
around $20 difference per meter.
more heat reduction and less transparent. each grade has different colors but they cost the same.
