In NSW, yeah, about that much if you need to modify or rebuild the fence depending on the size of pool, labour cost, materials and variation of site condition.You will have an overall idea when you have your pool inspected by a surveyor.
However if you are the lucky one, your pool fences are all compliant, which is usually not the case, you may get the certificate without a substantial amount of money.
