请教高手们，自家的Pergola 想加Roof，可以DIY吗？

polycarbonate roof sheets require special roof rails. you can buy 100 of them from ebay for under $35. you need to put flashing around the corners. you can buy them from bunning.
you can put the roof on. by the time you sell it then take the roof off. otherwise you will need to apply fro council permit for $1000.

从没听过卖房要拆瓦顶的。需不需要permit都好，要卖房的时候如果council都没找过麻烦，那没理由自己跑去拆瓦顶再卖房。

brother, when you are planning to sell your house. concuil will inspect it. so if council/buyer bulding inspector find out that your pergola has a roof but without a permit. it will ask you to take the roof off before you can sell it.

可以介绍一下 polycarbonate  和 colorbond 的优劣吗？
一般什么brand的比较好。在bunnings看到fielders 的colorbond和suntuf的polycarbonate。之前也有足友推荐Laserlite的polycarbonate。

polycarbonate is plastic so go for aslite or laserlite.
colorbond is steel. you can go for colorbond or stractco

用过suntuf和laserlight的，差不多。用透明的好了，几乎不会太影响外观，周围也可以用透明的PVC可以收放的帘子防风，现在这模样挺好看。不要拿不透明的东西包起来，很难看。

架子是developer做好的。而且隔壁都做了，只加个roof应该不用了吧。
架子少于多少面积不用申请， 但加了roof，就必须要申请了。
最最简单的办法是，加 shade cloth， 不用申请。

clear的会不会太热？本来是想用cream的，跟原来frame的颜色相近。

我一直觉得冷是个问题。去年热了(35+)能有两天还是三天？空调基本没开过，都不知道还工作不。

你是自己装的还是请人啊？那些什么stop tape，eave infill stripe， flashing 都在哪里买？
