A clearance rate of 72 per cent was recorded this weekend compared to 67 per cent last weekend and 71 per cent this weekend last year.
There were 600 auctions reported to the REIV today, with 432 selling and 168 being passed in, 92 of those on a vendor bid.
The auction market has started the new year very strongly as is evident in  today’s clearance rate.
Next weekend the REIV expects around 1320 auctions.
