NMIT Short Courses
Customer Premises Cabling - Open Registration (SET016)
Open Registration permits all types of telecommunications and data cabling to be installed on the customer's side of the network boundary in domestic, commercial and industrial premises including multi-building campus environments.
The five day (equivalent) course is suitable for qualified electricians, carrier-trained technicians/lines persons (ie Telstra) or persons with equivalent qualifications that have an aggregated 6 months relevant cabling experience. Relevant cabling experience means experience in installing telecommunications, electrical, data, security alarm, fire alarm, or lift cables.
Persons outside the above categories need an assessment by a workplace/RPL assessor to determine other modules required to meet ACA Open Registration competency standards.
At the end of the course, successful trainees will receive Statements of Attainment for:
* National Telecommunications Training Package modules: NTC004, NTC014, NTC017, NTC111 and Competency Certificate ICTTC137A
Under the ACA's Cabling Provider Rules these certificates are recognised by all ACA Registrars for Open Registration Cabling.
Location: Preston Campus Building V (enter via Jessie St)
Duration: 2 nights/week (10 sessions) (TS198)
Fee: $695

我是在网上考的，报了个网校，把教材快快看过，然后一天考一门，2周拿下ACA.
楼主帖子提醒我了，我的ACA可能过期了，谁知道怎么续啊？

ACA 的licience要记得续的哦～～～就像你的驾照一样。过期一段时间就作废了，千万别忘了。
既然你已经有了自己所有的一套设备和ABN，那你就直接可以找那些公司签合同了，那些大公司就是我上面说的一些，还有其他规模中等，小的更是一堆一堆，但是我只知道那几个大承包商，呵呵，希望对你有用
Structured Cabling Training \Open Licence Training 因该是2个不同的课程。你只要学open就足够了。
不管你是restricted还是open的一旦你通过了考试，1个星期以后就会有证书寄给你，你就去注册就行了，然后你就算是一个注册的cabler了。你tafe上看的1年的是他们tafe学生学的communication专业的课程，我们只要学short course就行了，多不超过1礼拜。
