Hi, rdcwayx, I don't cherish any hope that I can earn in Oz (I'm using
the right abbrev this time) as much as I do in HK. Plus, even if I can, the tax in Oz is much higher than that in HK or China. I think very few people come to Oz for making big buck. There is another side of attraction which Oz can offer other than money - simple life, freedom, environment,
rule of law, democracy, quality education for kids etc. I just hope that I
can find a job that suffices to pay for the basic needs of myself and
family - but this may not be easy, you know, even given my experience,
professional protectionism is great in Oz and I've no local experience.
hina's legal system and professional are progressing, but in my view are
still not good enough when compared with Oz, HK or US. China is still a
place ruled by men, not law. That's perhaps one of the reasons why so
many Chinese people would like to move to Oz or other western
countries despite China's booming economy. I have no intention of
wanting to disparage China, but just express my views. |
