请教：怎么做inventory的forecast?

其实那个公式，计算的是，有多少stock，需要purchase 或者 manufacture
不是计算target stock / demand forcast 的公式。
将来的事情，是没有公式可以算出来的。

of course, we use this formular for the basic calculation
we should have the overview first. then just to identify how well for our formula for the forecast
then use data modelling skills to do the forecast. although it's never 100% correct
but it's better than just using 6 months average. and this is most companies use in aus at the moment

Thanks for sharing. I knew nothing about forecast before this Wednesday. The manager just told me do do the forecast of a small subcompany.
Some of data are insufficient, such as safe stock or stock on order, so I just use the trend analysis based on the sale figure from the previous 12 months to get a roughly picture.
For the other items in the B/S or P/L, it's not difficult.

根据楼主的情况，我觉得最好的方法是让你们SUBCOMPANY负责INVENTORY方面的人给你提供数据，现在理论知识虽然可以帮到你，但是实际情况也许有很大的出入，不清楚最后你的数据对你们公司各个部门影响有多大，但是我想既然要做数据还是让越了解的人做越好，INVENTORY的东西看似简单但是还是有很多方面也许书本上的理论和实际操作情况差异很大。
